be.
“What’s wrong?” Dalton asked, breaking her worrisome reverie.
She shrugged. “Nothing really.”
“Must be something,” he insisted. “You seem uneasy.”
“Maybe I’m just overexcited. Maybe I need to burn off some energy.”
“I’d really love to help you with that.” Wade kissed her shoulder. His tongue darted out and licked downward a few inches before she pulled away.
“Let’s go to our private box. Are you ready?”
“We don’t have to leave if you don’t want to.” The sooner they went the faster she’d be forced to face her sudden fear of being watched.
“Well, the show doesn’t start for another half an hour, but I thought you might be more comfortable there.”
Olivia felt her eyes widen. Panic filled the core of her body. She didn’t think she’d be more comfortable there. Not yet. She needed more time. What was wrong with her?
“I can wait.”
Dalton looked at her quizzically for a moment and then asked, “Do I have to command you to go?”
She froze in place staring deeply into his intense, blue-eyed gaze. She started shaking her head before she spoke. “No. Not necessary.”
Olivia broke the stare and glanced around the room. She caught sight of Laurel across the room. She was currently wrapped around one of the men she’s spent time with this weekend. In fact, she was in a bear hug, and soulfully kissing one of her men.
Dalton turned and looked over to where she did. “Isn't that your cousin?” he murmured.
“Yes. Her name is Laurel. She’s the one who invited me here this year.”
“Remind me to find her later and thank her profusely.”
Olivia nodded. “Okay.”
“Please tell me why you’re upset. And don’t say you aren’t, because something is obviously bothering you. What is it, for God’s sake?”
She turned to face him, gazed deeply into his eyes, and blurted out, “I don’t want anyone to see into our box tonight when we have sex.”
He looked puzzled for a split second and then a half smile formed on his luscious lips. “Okay. That’s no problem. We’ll just keep it in privacy mode.”
“Really? I thought it was important. I thought you’d want to…” She stopped talking and threw her arms around his neck. “Thank you.”
She kissed him with all the gratitude in her soul. Then she turned to Wade and kissed his lips hard and fast, too.
“All you had to do was say you didn’t want to be watched tonight,” Dalton whispered in her ear after sandwiching her between him and Wade.
“Yeah,” Wade agreed. “We want you to enjoy this, too.”
Olivia nodded. “I will enjoy it. I’ve been looking forward to it. And I know it’s silly. But for this first foray into the Stadium, I just want it to be the three of us.”
“Does that mean you’re ready to head there now?”
“Yes. I’m ready now. Thanks.”
Without another word, Dalton put his drink down, grabbed her elbow, and started leading her through the throngs of people.
Wade followed without comment. They ducked into a narrow hallway that led to an elevator. They were quickly whisked to a different floor. The elevator doors opened into another small foyer with a choice of only two sets of double doors. They went to the set on the left.
Once inside their private box, she walked directly to the huge, almost wall-sized, window and looked out and then down to see the stage below. It looked like they were on the second floor. The private room was more spacious than she expected.
Below on the circular stage was a beautiful boudoir setting. There was a large circular bed with what looked like lavender silk sheets and a padded, white, curved headboard. There were lots of shapes and sizes of silver, white, and lavender pillows strewn about on the bed and on the floor surrounding it.
An oversized padded, black bench seat rested at the opposite the headboard at the foot of the bed. The seat looked large enough to hold four comfortably. The bed could likely hold five or six
