spiritual experiences. In fact there is no reliable factual substance for the adherent or believer. The entire spectrum of religious belief is based on faith not fact. Believers are required to believe by faith as there is no factual evidence to prove their beliefs.
From early childhood and to some degree according to our culture and parental experience, we are nurtured and seduced to accept the reality of God and religion of one sort or another. We are conditioned to accept everything we are told concerning this higher power. Many of us never question the information we receive, presented not as a theory, myth or fable, but as fact. It is NOT!
Surely it is time for us to cast off these ancient superstitions, myths, imaginations and falsehoods which have been passed down to us by earlier generations, and seek the truth. Only then can we live without any possibility of spiritual condemnation and fear. We can be free from the oppression and guilt imposed by narrow-minded, ignorant religious organisations. We can live with peace of mind every day knowing the reality of life as we experience it.
Regrettably, many people are convinced that there can be little or no meaning to life without faith in God. Many believe that life here on earth is simply a training camp for a real place called Heaven. How terrible to contemplate the fact that millions of the world’s inhabitants may have accepted a life of suffering for one cause or another, simply in the hope that they would be rewarded in the so-called next life.
I completely refute the idea that life has no meaning without God, in fact the more serious unbiased study we give to the Bible the more convinced we become of the absurdity of this book of myths and fantasies. The pre-programmed brainwashed mind will, of course, disagree with my evaluation. Ultimately, unfortunately, many people believe what they want to believe regardless of facts or evidence which conflicts with their long-held personal beliefs and assumptions.
My purpose is simply to ask the reader to look and think again objectively and if possible without allowing preconceived ideas to colour your thinking. Seek to discover the truth by reason and factual evidence rather than by an emotional response or by accepting willingly as fact everything that you may have been taught by a pastor, priest or Bible teacher whoever they are. It is also evident that a high percentage of Christian ministers often have grave doubts about their own faith and their perception of God.
1 John 4:8
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
1 John 4:16
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

PROPHECIES CONCERNING JESUS
BIBLE NONSENSE NUMBER 5
There are claimed to be up to 300 Old Testament prophecies fulfilled by Jesus! Looking at just a few of the most important ones will give us an idea of the standard of accuracy for these ‘prophecies’ and their so called fulfilment.
PROPHECY OF THE VIRGIN BIRTH OF JESUS
The Prophecy:
Isaiah 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign ; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
The Fulfilment?
Matthew 1:18-23
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from
