body that even his cowboy shirt couldn't obscure, slim
hips in his faded jeans, and the obligatory cowboy boots--he was a hottie. She
stared too long and hard, though. Ashley picked up on her interest.
    "Who are you
looking at?"
    "That guy over
there at the table just to the right of the bandstand. He's gonna burn this
place down, he's so hot."
    "Where. Oh, the
blonde guy?"
    "Yeah, that's
him."
    Ashley took a longer
look. After a moment, she frowned, and said, "I'll be right back."
    She wanted to be sure,
but Ashley could have sworn she had seen this guy before. Walking casually past
his table to get a better view made her certain. She had seen him
before, but where? And Becky was right, he was hot. So hot, she'd like to take
that shirt off him to cool him down. But then she was afraid the heat would be
coming from her. She continued to the bar to get drinks for Becky and herself.
As she walked back past the table full of men, someone let out a low wolf
whistle after she passed. Ashley smiled to herself. She was going to claim this
one. Becky would have to pick another.

    Rebecca Sue took her
drink with a quick thanks. Ashley remembered her preference, and this was
perfect. A Sex on the Beach. She didn't care what she drank, really, but she
loved it when a bartender or server asked her, 'do you like Sex on the Beach?'
She always answered, 'every chance I get.' It always got a laugh, and the drink
didn't taste bad.
    "So what's the
deal, Ashley? Why did you go over there?"
    "I wanted to see
him better," said Ashley. "I think I know him. Sorry, Becks, that
one's mine."
    Rebecca Sue had known this
would happen, so she had already picked one of the other men at the table. But
she needed to ask, anyway. "What makes this one so special?"
    "Well, for one
thing, look at him!" she exclaimed. "I mean, that's too hot for you
to handle, Becks." With a wink that took the sting out of the words, she
mouthed, 'sorry'. "Listen, Becks, I have my reasons. You know that."
    Rebecca Sue did, but voiced
it anyway. "Does he work for your dad?"
    "Yeah, I think so.
I've seen him before, at Dad's office."
    "Lucky man. You're
gonna hit that, I guess?"
    "Oh, yeah. Bet on
it."
    Rebecca Sue had watched
Ashley following in her mom's footsteps to seduce her dad's employees ever
since it started. But, she understood. Being abandoned by your mom at seven
because your dad threw her out of the house would hurt. A lot. Thank god Ash
gained a step mom who loved her when Wally married Jessica, but it didn't keep
her from blaming him that her mom simply left, without her.
    Ashley waited until
after the band came back from break. She didn't want to call attention to
herself yet, since she had checked him out before. Instead, she made her move
on the second song of the set, one that would give an opportunity to toss her
boobs at him a little during the dancing. Ashley walked in a direct line from
her booth to his table, ignoring the men with him. The guy sure did have a lot
of friends, but Rebecca Sue could be counted on to break up any talk after she
and the hot one started dancing. Becky would ask another one to dance, and the
rest would be envious.
    "Hi, I'm Ashley.
Would you dance with me?"
    The hot guy looked up
at her where she stood beside him, her boobs enticingly close to his shoulder.
My god, the guy had eyes like aqua ice. They regarded her with interest as she
steeled herself to appear cool, not fall into them and drown. She died a little
as he hesitated, but was restored to full diva glory when he said,
"Sure."
    This was a fast number,
and Ashley took every chance to shimmy, watching him closely for signs of
appreciation. She had forgotten to ask his name when his eyes threatened to
drown her. Must correct that between songs. She hoped he would stay on the
dance floor with her. He moved like a cobra, sinuous, graceful, and full of
hidden menace,  his expression slightly amused. Whatever; he wouldn't think it
so funny when she had him in bed.
